Eco-vouchers have been available since 2009 in paper format and are now issued 100% digitally on the Edenred card. The last copies of the paper vouchers are valid until the end of 2023.
They are intended to encourage the purchase of sustainable and/or environmentally-friendly products and services as specified by the Royal Decree of 20 May 2009. These include products with a European eco-label, sustainable mobility, recycling and waste prevention, among others. The National Labour Council regularly revises the official list of products and services that can be purchased with eco-vouchers; your sector may already be on it! Edenred Gift can be used for the purchase of clothes, fashion accessories, toys, hi-fi, travel, books, decorations, event tickets and more - in a nutshell, anything that can be considered a gift, as specified by the Royal Decree of 13 July 2007.
You can accept Edenred Gift in electronic format on the Edenred card. The last paper vouchers are valid until the end of February 2023.

These vouchers, fully digitalized on the Edenred card since 2021, dedicated to leisure can be used for sports subscriptions, the reservation of sports training courses or sports pitches, and the purchase of tickets for cultural events such as exhibitions, musical or theatre performances, festivals or leisure parks, as indicated in the Royal Decree of 30 June 2006.

As specified in the Royal Decree, all (e-)shops eligible for the meal voucher and/or eco-vouchers network can accept the purchasing power premium as Consumption Voucher.
In order to benefit from this, you have to therefore belong to at least one of the two eligible physical and/or online sectors:
- Food: You are a restaurant owner, a butcher or baker, or a seller of food products.
- Shops for sustainable and/or ecological products or services: you are active in eco-tourism, repair, sale of organic or labelled products, second-hand goods, waste prevention or...
